Real Guitar Pro App Reviews

Ive had the free version for a year or so and I have thoroughly enjoyed it enough to finally buy it. Its a great guitar app. A huge list of chords for the Chord mode, where you bind chords to the strings, changing the notes of each open string to the chosen note. Solo mode is the coolest; you get a view of the fretboard - only 11 frets though. This app is pretty cheap for what it is and it frankly deserves more downloads and ratings. Buy it so the developer makes more cool stuff.

The support for MIDI keyboards put your app on a new level. Excellent!

Nice, especially if youve developed arthritis or similar malady. But the creators should provide detailed instructions. Perhaps there is a way to do a good solo/rhythm mix, but I cant find it. Nice chord encyclopedia.

At 75 I decided that it was time to try one of the nicest sounding musical instruments I know of. One problem Im having is that my fingers are too short, chubby, and old to make a lot of the cords. This app is a lot of fun to play with. Paul

Originally found Real Guitar because I was looking for a chord library to help with jazz fingerings for chord variations. Then I wanted more availability of chords to use and saw the entire Real bundle with piano, uke, drums, metronome and tuner. Great fun!

Im a beginner and I like this app but the latest version has a significant issue in which the open string tuning goes all over the place depending on what notes you play on the fretboard. Very strange. Until this issue gets resolved the app is kind of useless.

Need electric guitar and more user friendly chord features. Also, whats up with only sharps and no flats?

Quality of sound is fine. But if youre a guitar player, just remember, this is a toy. You pick a chord, you strum, or you can hit the base strings. You dont do scales. Visualize a guitar tuner, tuned to chords of your choosing. Not bad, not what I had expected, not worth more than 99 cents.

I bought the entire package. Was using it fine. Phone rang. No sound from guitar since? Uke works. Drums work. Guitar piano nothing. It would be fine but I bought it for guitar and piano. Doesnt work!!!!!!!!!

Learning a lot and having fun at the same time. Got the Pro version.

Fun app if you play or not. Little tough figuring it out at first, but better sound than many.
